At first, in 7th grade, I played the trumpet and then I switched to percussion in 8th grade. I LOVE marching band. I can't wait until next year!!

She probably meant that marching while playing music is harder, which is kind of obvious, so maybe I am wrong....

i used to be in orchestra in the 9th grade... then i couldn't fit the class on my sched so i chose not to take it anymore. i wanted to join the jazz band at my school though to play the drums but the jazz band here is like...... in the DL

I've been playing alto sax for three years. Sometimes I find it embarrassing to be in band, but then again, it just shows how much more talent you have than the 'ungeeky' kids.

mainly a bell player, so percussionist!!!!
im also a standin for snare, bass, and quads too ^ ^
our band is super small, but of course, we always get SUPERIORS in music festivals :)
i also find it better to have a talent and be in band than have none and be "cool"

Yes, I play percussion. And the band sucks. But we have a piece exclusivly for percussion, and THAT sounds awesome. 4 of us are pretty good. (not the other 4 though.. ughh)

BUT, our jazz band is awesome.

usually music scores are harder in symphonys and concert bands. but i guess its the marching that makes it a lot harder.
once again, im a percussionist in band (drumline, bells). but im good enough in pit percussion to be in a drum corp but my mom wont let me join.,

i love orchestra, i love band too.
im what people call a music lover. i come from a musical family.
my dad used to compose and create theory sight reading and playing books, my mom played electronic organ, and my dads friends are professional movie musicians, concert musicians, composers, conductors and one of them compose the final fantasy music.

i play flute and piccolo for my school's wind ensemble. and i also got in on the orchestra for flute.
