Cuz It's Not A Crime

You don't even see,
That I'm already gone.
And how do you expect me to feel,
When you're never here,
And I don't know if you're even real.
And I know all the things you do,
In your little room, with the lights turned off.
Do you think about me,
Or one of the many girls you've seen?
And how am I supposed to smile,
When I know you're having fun?
You're having fun at my expense,
And you hurt me, and I cry.
Why can't you tell me you love me,
Tell me you really need me,
Tell me you want to hold me,
Tell me you're mine.
In the end I'll realize,
I'll figure out and know,
That all this ever was,
Was a lie left to unfold,
Go ahead and break my heart,
Cuz lying's not a crime.

When you're never really here,
And she's becoming quite confused,
Wondering if you're even real.

If this is just a dream,
Then she'll die before she'll wake.
And she's hoping that you'll stay,
But doesn't know what's left to say.

And the blinds shut tight.

She wonders very often,
If you think of her,
Or just one of the many girls,
You seem to always see.

She's wishing that you'll hold her close,
Wishing that you'll say you love her,
Wishing that she could call you, "Mine",
She's wishing her life away right before your eyes.

But one day she'll know,
She'll finally realize,
That in the end,
This was nothing but a lie.

She'll promise that it doesn't hurt,
Cuz lying's not a crime.

Destroy her with you words,
She'll hate herself forever.
Wonder what she did,
But it's not like you really care.

She'll blow out her brains,
Maybe then you'll remember what she said.

She loved you more than anything,
But you just threw her out.
But you helped her to know one last thing,
Like lying, crying's not a crime.
