My mom knows about all my boyfriends. I mean, she's gotta meet them sometime. I usually tell her after a few days of me going out with some guy. She takes it ok I guess.

Well Mom said I can have a bf any time after 18, but I got one in grade 11, and one now...they don't know, and even though I don't think they'd care too much I still don't tell them. Gotta keep up my good girl reputation and image you know.

But yeah, I doubt my Mom would care too much if I DO get one after 18, which is in a month and a bit...as long as my grades are kept up and I don't change radically, she won't care too much.

me and my frd (who's my bf now) told each other that we liked each other before University entrance exams started.....we realised that there was some chemistry coz we were partners for our grade 12 formal. We didn't become official though eventhough we knew we liked each other coz our 1 months and stuff would suck coz we're on exams. We became official on the day I finished my last exam.

Then about like........... few weeks later, dad found one of our photos. and later on I decided to tell mum..........

They're not totally against it, but always remind me that "Study" comes first since at the end of this month is our First year of University

The only thing is she would think it wasn't a serious relationship at all..by that I mean no kissing, no hugging, zip. Just a good friend. Plus she'd probably want to meet him.

...But even though I think she'd be alright with it, I still don't think I'd tell her if I did have one, which I don't.

I'd never ever tell my parents. My mom even said to me once, Don't date till college. Not even in high school, because it fucks up your grades. By then, I already had a boyfriend. Too late, I guess.

I've gone out with a guy for almost like 2 years now, and my parents are finally figuring it out now. They seem okay with it though but they haven't actually 'confirmed' that they know. *shrugs* I'll just never admit it though til they say they're okay with it. =P

yes, i have a boyfriend and they don't care. he comes over on the weekends and i always go to his house. my parents met him a couple of weeks after we started going out and they like him which helps the situation even more. it would be hard to hide it from them because then i wouldn't be able to see him that much besides school. i've been dating boys for a while so my parents have gotten used to it.

I know how you feel ugh. My parents are soo over protective, it's like they think we're too naive. My parents would probably kill me, cause ever since i entered high shcool yeah i'm a freshmen. My parents have gone at it saying no boyfriends no boyfriends no boyfriends. They will f**k up your life not to mention your grades. Blah blah. I mean i've had a few and gone behidn they're backs but it's not liek i can talk on the phone and go out with any of them .. my mum couldn't care less most of the time. i figure she just trusts me enough to not be worried. and going to an all girls academy, she doesn't have too much to worry about if i'm going to find a guy at school.

my father and step-mum however... they always want to know if i'm in a relationship and such. they're not so nosy to say, but they just want to make sure of everything.
