They know I have a boyfriend, but they did keep me from getting one until I was 16. I think they like him, and they know him pretty well (we were friends for two years before going out, so they already knew them). My boyfriend was actually not supposed to date until he was 16 either, but his parents made an exception for me. Apparently a close friend from midde school's mother is friends with his mother and she put in a good word for me. Cool.

my cousin (legal guardian *sigh*) never really cared, but she was psycho so I never really told her anyway. Not til I got to high school and started spending a lot of time with the guys. And they usually came over here so yeah. I never kissed them or acted like we were dating at all when they were around tho. I didnt want her to get all hyper-Christian on me and start accusing me of sleeping with them, which at first I hadnt. SO yeah. But the guy I'm with now, I've been with since high school, and that was three years ago, so she knows. I mean, he cmae with us on our family camping trip. All family, and my boyfriend. haha. everyone likes him better than me. He comes to the christmas parties we have...hell he does everything with my family, cuz if I have to go, I drag him along with me to keep me company so I'm not so miserable. And now they usually invite him anyway haha. SO yeah. but since I'm 19, and have been open about my bfs since I was about 17, you kinda grow into that trust. I know a lot of yall are young, and you are also not dating seriously yet, so its a big difference.

yeh my parents know.. i'm very open to them esp my mum.. we talk about almost everything.. plus i've starting dating when i was like what?? 12.. so yeh.. sometimes she even gives me really good advice..

gosh mai friends r so strict about boys! they always get so suspicious when i hang out with mai guy friends. it's so annoying. i have a bf rite now and they have no clue cus if they ever found out, they're gonna flip!! they don't even want me to date in high school. only after i go to three years of college. too bad i m dating rite now.

If I was going out with someone I would go behind their backs. But if it Is like a past BF they would be like "Oh watever" but if I tell them and im still going out with the person they would care.

well i was asked out once last year.. but i said no. i think it was the biggest regret of my life. i said no even though i wanted to cause i was afraid what my parents would say about me having a bf.. and i new that my dad would say that i'm too young. i really wish he would ask me out now.. cause my life is so different.. i can just meet him somewhere and tell me parents that i'm meeting a different friend.. lie =/

haven't had one, but i don't think they would mind. my stepmom keeps asking me if i like anyone as it is. i name a guy and she asks if we're only friends. good grief, yes! i'm sorry i'm lame (jimmy, you are a constant disappointment to me). my mom said i'd have to wait until i was 16 to date, but as it happens it didn't matter anyway since i'm now 16 and the issue still hasn't come up. bah. humbug. also, i don't think i''d be able to hide it, because my mom knows just about everyone i know and their parents...

Anyway, yes, they do. It's most responsible to tell them what's going on in your social lives. Otherwise you'll be having a burden of a secret on you all the time. I always communicate with my parents. If you're not telling them about your relationships, maybe you're not at the age or ready to have a bf or gf..

I'm not sure if they let me but yeah, I be having boyfriends behind their backs. Who's knows if they ask why or what they're gonna say.

I try not to let my mom know cause once anything goes wrong - ie my grades start falling a little - I know she's soo going to be blaming it on him and stressing that I shouldn't have one until college and yadeeyah. =p

OH HELL NO! My parents are the last people who would ever say yes for me to have a bf. They are soooo... idk about my dad i think he'd tease me about it cuz i always used to say when i was little "i'm not going to fall in love and i;m never gonna get married" my mom on the other hand would hands down say no to bfs. shes way too grade crazy and she would think i would just fool around and not study and get bad grades which she already bugs me about B;s... My mom said her first bf was when she was 21 and it was my dad... so really not a good idea.. i;'d sneak it behind their backs

My parents [I don't think] didn't know about my ex. I'm pretty sure they had an idea, but they like had like no confirmation of it. So yeah.. I guess you could say I got away with it. My relationship with him was like around 2 years so I think they pretty much got used to it.

I think she told my dad and when me and him went to the movies yesterday, my dad was all like, 'Oh who are you going with, huh?
