why do u want to remove the advertising? u got this tripod thing for free didn't you?

You can't remove ads from a free site and even if you were able to find out how, they would take your site off.

I know what ya mean... that's why I bought my own domain. You can try Topcities or Cool Free Webs. They still have ads but it's not as bad as Tripod. (CFW requires the use of FTP tho)

There's also always the option of looking for someone who will host your website. I host but I'm VERY picky about what the website looks like and that it works.
