just wondering if alot of ppl work out alot or am i just real lazy to work out every other day....

yepz u gotta work out everyday. usually u shud separate ur lifting. upperbody and lower body gotta b diff days. do those every otha day (i.e. upperbody - mon wed sat and lowerbody - tues thurs sun). but my fave to do is **** loads of pushups n situps n body resistance exercises. i cud usually get about 600 pushups a day and 1000 situps a day. and i split it so i aint doin it all at once into 2-3 sessions. for biceps... simple dumbells are good. or use a bench press bar... those madd good...

I work out every other day... I do karate for an hour, then i lift weights for 30, and then a swim after that... I end up loosing 5 lbs not to mention good lookin abs and stuff...

my work out is basically riding my bike.... but i ride atleast 5 mins to and back.

I started working out 2 months ago at the local gym. I like water sports so I can not do that anywhere here ( Las Vegas .... was not raised here) anyways I go to the gym now for my exercise and I go everyday I might miss 1 day here or there but i make up for it happy.gif Becuase I am getting in shape for the new year of school and I will continue to workout throughtout the year.

i don't believe that everyone here works out everyday cuz u gotta give yer body a rest unless you're not working out that hard each day....i work out some weekdays and rest on weekends

once in a while ill work-out. if dancing is considered a workout then i do it everyday. =] not to mention hula...i consider that a boot camp workout. damn.

well, i try to work out every day. i usually run in the morning, then i do crunches and pushups and this thing that works your butt.

I'm training for my physical exams for Naval Academy. Elliptical machines are the best things in the whole world. I FEEL THE BURN!

Yeah, I have to train with running, push ups, baskteball throw <--gay., and flexed arm hang. -_- Gr I wish I could just do the pull ups instead. I get bored with the flexed arm hang. =p

I work out 4 days a week. MW I do aerobics or lift weights (on the "fitlinxx" system), and play volleybal on TTH with my friends from work. It's fun.

yeah i bike for about half a mile at around 9 am after i eat a healthy breakfast.. over a hill n all to my lafitness gym.. then i workout for about 45 minutes and take a shower there... yea i do stretches, do that moving stairs thing, run half a mile at least, do 100 curl ups, and use some machines... im tryin my best to get my tummy fat out!!! cry.gif stupid fat!!!!!!! ahh all my fat goes into my tummy and my tummy hangs out so my mommy told me to suck up my stomach LOL... grr IM NOT LOSING THE FAT ITS LIKE A NITEMARE THAT WONT END pinch.gif GRR TRYIN TO START A DIET TOO BUT ITS SOOO TEMPTIN TO EAT SWEETS AND JUNK FOOD!@$@%!@%$$%&@

i went on vacation for 5 weeks so didnt work out man but i use to work out like 3-4 days a week and the othe days run to get some abs but i just started up today so yeah i do work out

no..i don't work out..as in i don't go to the gym. but i do color guard and we do a lot of push-ups, sits-ups, etc.

No, I don't work out. I don't feel the need to... And even if I did, i'd probably be too lazy to do so anyway. wink.gif

I run every morning, though. Sometimes at night, if I'm not too tired. Just to stay in shape.

that's AWESOME!! a girl trying to get into the naval academy...good luck biggrin.gif

(i wasn't being sexist when i said that. i just don't know any girls who have entered the academy, and i'm guessing that the majority of the students there are men)


i work out 4 times a week, have a cardio/abs day once a week, and play competitive basketball about 2 times a week. so i keep my body pretty busy

hopefully i can add boxing into my schedule

I'm assuming you compete (even though right now it's the off-season)? If so, what level are you in? My little sister did gymnastics for 9 years so even though I can't do much, I still know quite a bit about gymnastics. Good luck with it!

That's really cool that you are going to the Naval Academy....I was just there a few weeks ago and it's really nice.

About my workouts: I've been training for a triathlon in Septemeber so right now I'm on a block workout schedule, which means I'm doing two out of the three sports every day...and I'm also working on my transistion times. The worst is trying to run 6 miles right after you finish a 12-14 mile bike ride...your legs feel like jello and then when you finally get into about the 2nd or 3rd mile your legs burrrrn. This summer I've also been doing a few lacrosse camps and in the triathlon off-season I play indoor lacrosse (in the winter) and lacrosse for my school (in the spring).
