wow, that is the only way you can describe the movie.
as a person who has rebelled against organized religion, i found this movie uplifting and refreshing....
i love how mel gibson not only depicted the holy aspect of Jesus but also his human side....
WOW!
Go see the movie.... its good

Being a Christian means that you understand that you inevitably sin and "fall" ... watching this movie reminds me that Jesus is always there for me ...

... btw ... i didn't even know that the movie was about his last 12hrs on Earth ... that's what also caught me by surprise. super duper intense from the 1st second ... awesome movie!!!

... OH OH OH!! bring tissues .. if not for you ... then the person sitting next to, in front of or behind

I guess I should start watching tv more... Too much internet.. And nothing to watch on tv except lame supposively RL (real life) shows and stereotypical show depicting what high school SEEMS like but really isn't.
back to the subject. I really would like to learn more about Jesus. =) I'm Buddhist, but I would like to get to know more religions

yes, talk about incredible! I didn't completely cry or bawl because I just have that instinct of feeling embarresed of doing that in public, but i was watery eyed a Whole lot of the time. There were parts where I was feeling really really mad and sad at the same time, i was making faces like I was gonna reach in the movie and grab the gaurds and rip their heads off!
yea, this movie is incredible... if you havnt seen it yet, you absolutly must!

Oh.. my.. gawsh. Yes, I wanted to jump into the movie and just slap the guards when they just started kicking him and whipping him when he fell. Err.. but then I thought I would BONK! my head on the screen if I tried. Anyway, Yes, that movie... words cannot express the effectiveness and it's-- Yes, it was a VERY good movie. *sigh* The sacrifices that Jesus made. Wow, it.. eh.. he had to go through all those horrible whippings. I would have just asked God to take me away from that. Dang.. he gets beaten for being the Messiah. Everyone should watch, it really shows you what happened.

I saw the movie. ....the movie was very passionate and...was soo sad and violent. I never really had an image of how Jeus was treated. It really made me think. I think it's a movie everyone should see.

i heard that the movie was really gory. birds pecking at eyeballs and the like. i dont know, but.... i'm not really into watching jesus die a slow torturous death. :X so nah, i think i'll skip the movie (and read the bible instead).

i am sort of against the movie...i think its powerful and some parts are actually biblical but Mel gibson seems to exxagerate a bit and the movie is highly influenced by catholic beliefs...you have to know what your going to see and know what the real story is before you let yourself be influenced by entertainment...i think im gonna see it anyways

it was amazing.. mel gibson is a genius.. although the scenes were extremely painful to watch it held true to what was written in the bible and the viewers are most definitely moved and englightened in watching this movie. i reccommend it to those who haven't seen it. and regardless of what religion you are i think that it is well worth seeing because of the meaning you get out of it.. it really made me reevaluate my life and realize how precious life really is..

I saw it yesterday... I was so disturbed... and during the entire movie I had a look of disgust plastered on my face... I looked at the wall in the theater during the gruesome parts... It was too much for me to handle... and a couple of tears ran down my cheeks... but I didn't cry like i never cried before... -- i will never watch this movie again.

even though i'm not christian i am very respectful of others beliefs. i went to go see this movie. it was very moving to me. i cried about 5 times. it didn't change my religious beliefs but it challenged them enough to get me thinking. i'm now studying further into christianity. i know for a fact that i don't agree with christianity how it is today. i believe that the church changed it. to benefit themselves. i won't go into further detail, i just thought it was an awesome movie and i'm grateful i saw it.

I've read critiques and articles about the movie, and I am greatly intrigued. I do hope it would be viewed in theatres here in the Philippines.

I'm really looking forward to watching it since I am a devoted Catholic. I really really hope I could see it on the big screen, but if I can't, hopefully I could purchase a DVD of it sometime soon.
