Soccer's World Cup is watched by over 1 billion people worldwide. It's the most popular sport in the world, except in America. I like Football more, maybe because I play it. But I just think it takes considerably more skill.
And for the record, females do play football.

soccer is the only school sport i go to regularly. it is waaaay (and yes, i do know how "way" is usually spelled) more exciting to watch or play than football. plus if you don't know the numbers of the players that you're friends with, they don't have helmets to obstruct your view of their faces.

ohmygsh. soccer. football is a crazy sport. it's rougher [sp?] then soccer. and it's confusing to learn. not like soccer. I played soccer for 5 years, and it's one of the best sports I have ever played.

Does the Superbowl get half on the world's population watching it? I know very few people in Europe watch it, few people Africa watch it, and few people in Asia watch it, as virtually EVERY continent has huge soccer fans.
I also never understood Americans calling it "football." You use your hands 80% of the time.

I like football since I finally learned how it works, but then again my whole family has been into soccer for the past 10 years so I'm stuck in the middle.
I like soccer.... if only there were more action tough. I guess I'm just too impatient.

If it's American Football vs. Soccer...then
I liked soccer since I was a young'n. I had ALWAYS loved the game. I grew up playing it. And football, I used to hate 'cuz I never understood it. Until like 8 years ago, I got the hang of it and now I LOVE IT! But if it came down to one sport..
Soccer/Futbol...it's been my sport of life.
