hey welcome to createBlog! i hope you're active in the forum, cuz if you are, you'll meet a lot of new people. i'll try to explain the avatar thing but it might be confusing.

INSTRUCTIONS (hope this isn't confusing):

- click on "my controls", which is the at the top left of the page.
- scroll down a little bit until you see "personal profile"
- under "personal profile", you should see "edit avatar settings". click on that
- you can upload an avatar from your computer or find one online.

your avatar can be no larger than 100 pixels by 100 pixels in size and 15 kb in size. it has to be either a .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .swf, or .png.

an avatar is pretty much just a little icon (kinda like AIM icons...if you use AIM you should know what i'm talking about). if you have one, you'll see it under your name in every post
