btw, the second urban beach is in Toronto! That's not close to Vancouver at all D:

There's the Painted Ladies at Alamo Square, the Palace of Fine Arts rotunda, Colt Tower, Ghirardelli Square, Lombard Street, etc. My faves are Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. You can also get a sweet view of the entire city from Twin Peaks.

Don't know any places for good nights out tho, I've only been twice when I was young. Hit up Janette!
