any other forum, only a handful of people have over 5,000 posts. here it's normal. about half the active users have over 10,000, and people like me and you with almost 14,000 posts aren't at all uncommon.

Most other forums aren't like this. This group is more "close-knit" despite dislike / trolling / cheezburger. That causes people to stick around a lot more than on a lot of forums, and the people that have stuck around the longest end up being the people with the most posts. These boards when active become like a chat room, racking up post counts. People also get post counts from commenting on "Cb-space" just like Tung did to become an OM when there was an actual requirement to do so. That's why I wouldn't particularly find this "Odd."
