im plannin to get a new company for mai phone...and i was wondering which company has the best phones...best reception.....best rates...best price......OR W/e u think is GOOD!!!!

verizon has best reception.
i think cingular has the best price.
I hate Tmobile tho. i just hate it alot. but not as much as i hate cingular. i'd say stick with verizon. best reception, and i'd say not that bad of price.

let me tell you NOT TO GET VERIZON. Thats what I have. It's horrible. We have a 3 person plan, and they kept telling us about these features we would get for free if we signed up. So we did it. And we used the features, aturns out they lied. It costed money. The bill was SO high those first 2 months cuz they kept lieing and crap. So my mom asks to speak to the manager. They tell her he would call in 48 hours. Never called >.<My mom continues to ask to speak to the maager, but she NEVER gets contact. psh.

Anyhow...I heard cingular was good. We are probably gonna switch soon. Except verizon makes you pay $150 to switch.

One word, NEXTEL.

Nextel pwns Sprint, Tmo, Cingular, and Verizon. I have both Verizon and Nextel they have usually the same amount of signal levels as each other. Nextel has D/C which allows you to Direct Connect like a walkie Talkie to any other Nextel customer. The nextel phones may seem bigger but they like tanks, i dropped my nextel out of my car driving at 40mph and it survived i just need to get a new housing since the old one was pretty scratched up. Nextel has the most mods you can do to your phone. Oh Yeah support is crazy too lets say you have insurance on your phone and you somehow break it or teh screen dies. You call up NRS (Nextel Repair Service) and they send a new phone within 3days, or you can go to the nextel store and get a new phone right away.

Your first month was expensive b/c they prorate meaning for the first month they make you "pay" for 2months.

ahhhh crap...im using verizon wif a 3 people plan.....we pay 120 a month.....is that tooooo exspensive????....and we cant ge tout of it fo lyk 2 years...!!! and may parents say they wanna switch ..but it cost lyk 100 to cancel!!!....

i've tried cingular, and to me, it sucked. i could only get reception in select places, and never in buildings. with sprint, i get reception pretty much anywhere, except underground. sprint has some cool phones...a LOT of camera phones and a lot of small phones.

one of the best features of sprint is it's PCS vision. it's $5 a month, but it's well worth it. you get unlimited internet access, so you can surf the web (not all sites, but sites that allow cell phone viewing) and you can make your own ringtones (with voices...like the actual song) and wallpapers (by sending them to your sprint email or going to a certain site). the only bad thing about PCS vision is its short mail. cingular and other companies receive and send text messages pretty quickly, but since PCS vision connects to the web, it's just like the internet...it takes time to load and refresh.

also, one of the reasons my family switched from cingular to sprint was cost. so it shouldn't be that expensive

T moble is great for me (right now). I wish I could get better reception when I drive out side city limits though.

our cell phone bill came out to $500 this month... OOPS we forgot to pay last month.. haha.

our plan just got changed. but we got the $100 dollar plan with Unlimited Nights and Weekends AND we have 4 cell phones on family share stuff on CINGULAR...

eh.. i hope my mom doesnt cancel... cingular is great.

Verizon isn't so bad, my mom is using a 2 person plan and its like 60-ish bucks a month...the reception is good. I heard that cingular is REALLY bad reception...so i dunno

i have t-mobile, but its prepaid. the phone is great, and i get good reception. but i live in a really big city (dallas) so i dont know what its like in the country. i dont really know about plans...but the Nokia 3595 phone will own your soul! its awesome!

AVOID AT&T, AT ALL COSTS.....

They lie and are very manipulative. For example, my sis got a 1000 minute plan and at the end of the month they said she had overage charges because they sliced her minutes in half to 500 without even telling her.

The reception is bad..............BAD..............average of 3 bars man..

Get either Verizon or TMobile . . . I have Verizon now and I have service everywhere. The thing with cell phone plans is that no matter what you do, they're gonna be expensive, so have a lot of cash with you so that you can pay it all off. If you get a phone from Verizon before the billing period is over, they charge you extra, though, so be careful about that. My friend has TMobile and he gets service everywhere (almost), too, and sometimes in the subways.

yup that's true.... but onlly for the first month and it depends on when you sign up for the service.... I have verizon.... and they are not bad..... works everywhere but where I live......lol... but then again nothing works here... I have my own plan with 400 minutes... and insurance and it's about 50-52 a month

i pay lyk 800bucks for my fone per month cuz japanese fonez r tight and u can surf the web and download songz and listen to mp3 and play gamez and email and chat and shop and u can use it @ shopz so dat u dnt hav to pay and yea...they're so kwl but xpensive
