Where I live, people with a three-year age difference having sex, even if it's consentual (sp?) is considered statutory rape if the girl is a minor. Just dating, however is ok.

the fact that it's 3 years apart isn't a big deal... but since u both are young then it does seem like a big difference. Like if it was a 20 yr old and a 23 yr old, no one would even pay that any attention. It's not considered "rape" until he turns 18... which isn't too far away.

I don't think age matters all that much. If it bothers you and him, then maybe you should talk about it. If not, then what does it matter? You shouldn't be worried about of what other people think. Although there are times when too old is way too old. But I don't think so in your case.
