first time putting up a layout and asking for feedback. hah a little hesistant after seeing some of the simply amazing layouts that people design but what the heck gotta start somewhere right?
well all my layouts have been really simple. i like making backgrounds so i generally just touch up the blog area to match the bg and banner [this one doesn't have a banner cause i thought it'd clash too much]. i was just looking for some feedback...is the bg too much? too little? i get the feeling it's too cluttered and the blog [even though it's to the side] kind of covers up some of it...and the blog area is it easy enough to read? does it look weird that i moved it to the right? well any feedback is appreciated

It looks good. One suggestion: on the hover effect, dont make the font become bigger. its hard to click some links that are on the sides.

i tried to fix the hover size thing but for some reason nothing i do seems to change it ...the main reason i use the hover thing is to make the link easier to read since any shade of brown might clash with the bkgd. any advice on that?

for me, i think the background is getting in the way of the blog soo maybe you can change that. and for your hover link thing, i think its fine the way it is.

i like the bg ayashi no ceres is a good anime but sad..

i changed the hover thing cause the even though the size was the same it would still move the link around when the glow effect came into play so now it's just a color change. i tried the blur hover effect but it did the same thing as the glow. thanks for the feedback! any suggestions are appreciated
about the size of the bg i already made it smaller i'm afraid too small u can't see the details but maybe i'll just redesign it
