i heard from my friend that once u get ur period, ur just gunna grow a few inches and then u'll stop from there...im kinda freaked out cuz i got my period wen i was 10 and even my little brother's catching up to me. im just wondering...and if everyone already knows this..then im just stupid

i thought when you get your period, it means you've hit puberty which means you'll grow more. and you shouldn't compare yourself with boys. they grow faster in a year than a girl.

My doctor told me it's true. But it really depends on the person and your genes. So don't worry you'll grow taller. Females supposedly stop growing at 18. So you got plenty of time to grow.

its not that you stop growing, but its just that your growing process slows down. since women stop growing at a certain age, after you get your period, you only grow only a few more inches.
