the only reason i started this was because everytime i have a crush on a celebrity i find out something about them that makes me hate them and all that time was wasted on that person so i'm jus wonderin'

i think theyre worth it i guess. i mean....its kinda better than a crush on someone you know because you're prepared to not even meet that celebrity so you dont even have to fear rejection........also if you happen to lose the crush there is probably always another celebrity that will come along that will catchy your eye........its a never ending cycle........

I have three so called "obsessions" and I'm proud. I still have a life out of Eminem, johnny Depp, or Tobey Maguire, so I know how to contain my obsessions, but if someone got me started on it, watch it I think it's not useless because yea, you'll probably never actually go out with them but it kinda oh I don't know, gives you a reason to get up every mornnig and do your thing everyday. I myself first researched deeply about the celebrity just to make sure that I wno't suddenly find something out that would make me hate them. Take for instance, I hate that Johnny Depp smokes, but that gets overpowered by how good of a father he is and how talented as an actor he is. If you like them enough, you'll get through it *nods*

Yep. I have 4 "obsessions" too. Jake Gyllenhaal, Chad Michael Murray, Orlando Bloom, and Tobey Maguire. Guys in my classes would poke fun at me that I had a huge picture of Legolas on my binder. But to me, that's perfectly normal. Having a "crush" on an actor, is better than having a crush on a normal guy at school. Even though you'll probably never meet the actor, I think that having your heart broken by a jerk at school is way worse.

I have COD. Anne Hathaway has been my celebrity obsession since FOREVER. I met her too so whoever said that you will never meet them should take that back. I don't think they are useless they are fun and you can fill your free time with them.
