And So I Watch You From Afar is an Irish instrumental post-rock band with a sound that's right down the block from Explosions In the Sky but with a more powerful delivery. It's sweet. There's an electric, energetic quality but you also get that dreamy, introspective atmosphere. Visit their
MySpace to stream some material. I recommend the fourth and last tracks.

I'm pretty into Post Rock (Boards of Canada, GY!BE, Jakob, Pivot) and minimalist Electronica. For some reason I dont like this, I find it too structured and very beatsy, for lack of a better word.
I am slightly more into a progressional style, for some reason this sort of sounds repetitive. Who knows GY!BE and Sigur Ros grew on me, this probably will.

Fair enough. Yeah, I know what you mean. It took some time before Sigur Rós crawled into my regular playlist. Wow, I didn't think anyone else listened to Pivot or Jakob on here. And BoC, good stuff.

Hahaha either did I. I only discovered Pivot because they opened for Sigur Ros, they're nuts live. Have you listened to
Seekae?

No, but damn. They're quite good. Intricate and warm with great climaxes.

They're pretty good as well. I like "City On A Hill" and "And End". Have you listened to
God Is An Astronaut?
