Hmm...I dunno I just thought this would be interesting. Do your parents watch the same shows you do? This kind of came from last night, when I got my mom to watch "Wildboyz" with me. I was surprised she found it amusing as my sister and I did. She actually likes "Nip/Tuck", too.

my parents and i watch totally diffferent shows. they watch the chinese shows and news and all that. i watch comedy, mysteries, etc..

i tried watchin` "i love the 90`s" with my dad. when it came to the part of this guy having an affair, my dad was like "change the channel. i don`t wanna hear this crap"

the only thing i can watch with my parents are family comedies & news. but i`m fine with that.

My Dad and I agree on action movies, anything aside from that, we have to watch it on our own.

My Mom and my dad disagree on action movies as my Mom loves romance and comedy.

I don't know... I have a weird family, everyone's into their own thing.

My Mom watches "Degrassi" which is sorta weird, cause I do too. We're always so happy when theres a new show that Friday.

my mom and i watch all the kevin smith movies (think jay and silent bob strike back) and thats cool

but for the most part i can't watch movies with my mom because i don't feel right getting the "naughty" jokes around her.

My dad watches anything. He likes watching the same shows as me.

Me and my dad don't watch anything together, maybe a cooking show once in a while, or an OLD movie...

But before my mom passed away we watched the same shows, Friends... ER... anything you can really think of, she even watch the cartoons I watch (Spongebob, Rugrats ect.). And I could watch any movie with my mom, me and her pretty much where like teens best friends (granted I was only 12 almost 13 at the time, wouldn't count me as a teen yet, lol), lol.

mine too, but we can always watch sum jackie chan movie togetha...they lyked rush hour 2 lol but otha than that...nuttin i watch interests them, they also lyk watchin animal planet fa sum reason lol

I havnt watched tv with my parents since i was in elementry school. hehe. i would make them watch the disney channel. The other night i was downstairs and i sat down to watch tv w/ my mom and dad and he was surfing the channels and it came to one part on vh1's best week ever and this guy made a comment about something and my dad turned right to the part when he said "ya he's the type of guy you can bring home to mom and then he'll f*** her." and my dad was like, oh god! and turned the channel....ya, i dont watch tv with my dad, but my mom and i love viva la bam. hehe. bam

oh my gosh, ur mom likes Nip/Tuck???? damn, i change tht channel before my mom even comes downstairs. I watch MTV even when my moms in the room or not...she cant really do NE thin bout it and hes all "u watch this...?" then gives me this weird look but im like "yah so" but Nip/Tuck....wow i would get grounded if my mom saw me watching tht but i watch it NE wayz lol

when I actually do watch TV I'll watch cartoons like Spongebob, Jimmy Neutron and Invader Zim and shows like that, but I like the designing shows like my mom does. I'll watch those with her... my parents like the History Channel too though...normally I'll retreat to the computer when they watch that junk.

yeah my dad hates MTV with a passion... it pisses me off tho cuz he always says stuff like, "the world wouldnt be like this if MTV and BET wasnt around" i wish i could give him a big ol' "F YOU" but unfortunately hed beat my ass. lol anyways my mom likes some shows but they mostly think its all trash. i beg to differ.

i dont know about shows, but i caught my dad watchin Happy Gilmore last night. haha :-P

not really. my parents don't like watching the shows on the WB and Saturday morning cartoons, mainly because they don't understand English that well, and would not understand the jokes made about the American culture. However, we somtimes watch the same Asian movies.
