I've been back, trying to remember how I did everything in Photoshop, I tried to go for a generic attractive style.
Prototype. terrible.
anybody know any good websites with textures?, it's been a while, i'm a noob again, kinda.

It doesn't look that bad, it's just the quality could be a bit better.
And you can basically find any textures anywhere on google.

i agree with beenly. It doesn't look bad but the quality could be better. Also im not crazy about the colouring of the moon or how dark it seems to be.

I think it's because the brushes are pretty blurry, I haven't sharpened it yet.
And I'm not so good picking colors. lol
I can't remember the name of the site, but I know it had a red squid and had a lot of textures.

Hm, it's not too shabby, but I think it should be somewhat brighter, at least where those brushes are because it's quality isn't really all that bad for me. Anyhow, I also suggest you don't use Courier New on this layout. It's difficult to get Courier New to work, and this is one of those times that it just doesn't want to look good. Also, it's a rather small layout (I assume) for such a big navigation. In my opinion, the title should actually be bigger than the navigation. And it's not really anything to pick on, but the navigation could be a little more creative(?). Otherwise, good job.
EDIT:Also,
is this the site you're looking for?

Well this is kind of like a top banner, it'll expand downward when I start coding. The navigation is just there to be there I'm not taking it seriously right now.
Any fonts in particular that you think would fit in?
and yes that is the site I was looking for, thanks. I guess it's a full on portfolio now.

Hm, well, I'm not particularly sure actually, but something sans-serif would look good on this.

The banner needs a stronger focal point, something bright and attractive to catch your visitor's eye. It's the first thing they'll see when they visit your page, so it really is a big factor in deciding to stay on your page or not. Right now there's not much to attract me.
I actually like Courier New, but only for the links.

You can also use this site -
http://colorschemedesigner.com. I use it all the time for colour coordinating.
