I can't be your heart,
And I can't stand us always being apart.
All I can do now is close my eyes,
Hoping for the day that I might die.

I no longer see your face,
It's hidden, as if wrapped away in silver lace.
I won't look into the mirror,
Because I no longer wish to see my eyes filled with terror.

I can't be your life,
I'm sorry dear; I'm to busy, I can't put down the knife,
Today can't you be mine?
Just once; just for a moment; just this one, small time?
