This is a layout for a portfolio that I am making. I want to know if there is anything that I should change, or add to it so that it'll look nice. Sorry for the bad quality of the screen shot.

Hm, it's not too shabby, actually. But, I think you're kind of overdoing the gradients. Or, the gradients are just too bright for the background. In the navigation, I simply do not understand why you need periods before and after each link and I kind of dislike the font you used for "Amazing" under your logo. Otherwise, good job.

I agree with it being shabby. That font looks a bit too grungy and personally I think the font color doesn't help it at all. Btw, what's up with the tiny text? It looks a bit awkward. I would personally move the tiny text to the part that has the "collection" text.

diff text, less grungy as well as lighten up the wood, page is to "girly" for the dark wood

Thanks everyone.

So far I got rid of the small text under the headings (which were supposed to be subheadings.) I have also deleted the periods before and after the text in the navigation.

Now I am unsure of the type of font and color I should replace the headings and text with. Any suggestions?

I totally agree with Mike. The wood texture looks great but the light colors don't go with it. If you really want to use pink, I think a darker shade would look fine. As far as fonts go I think a solid one would work meaning it doesn't have any textures or aything.

Forget about this topic. It's closed. I guess that I wasn't a good web designer like I thought I was.

It's ok you can close it. It wasn't you. It's just that it seems like the whole entire layout is a mess. I give up on things easily anyway so it's no big deal.
