the holes slightly overlap on my wrist. is there any kind of metal clips or something like that that i can buy so i can continue to wear this bracelet?

this past february, i was able to go to nicaragua for community service. while shopping, i bought a leather bracelet that i fell in love with. it has two holes at the end where you could tie it with the leather string. i wore the bracelet a ton, but the leather string managed to get shorter & shorter, so i can't wear it anymore. i still want to wear this bracelet, but i have no idea what to use so i can wear it. here's a picture:
do the cheap thing and use a piece of string or a safty pin :D
buy some synthetic leather or some type of material close to what you want and use it has string..
