so i have a div layout and im right now trying to move my text for "about me" around

i want it to be white and located in the top center of the gold frame

alright so now my layout is on top of one of my boxes and my "about me" text is underneath it too. and my layout is all big and things are moved around on it like this:

btw i zoomed out in the screen shot show that you could get a complete view.

You haven't. Your coding is ridiculously messy. Read all the tutorials under the "Basics of Making a Layout" header here to gain a clearer understanding of CSS and how to work with it. Then, check out this tutorial on making a DIV layout using 1.0.

alright so i used the new layout code and now I'm wondering where you put the background image. the tutorial doesn't specifically state where to put it.
