so what is bandwidth?

It's the amount of traffic you're allowed in a given period, usually per month. Say you have 500MB of bandwidth. If you have a song that's 5MB in size, every time someone plays it, that takes 5MB from your allotted bandwidth. If you have 10 of the same size, and 10 people play all of them once, then that's all 500MB.
