/g/ failed. what should i do with two spare 2wire routers? right now I just made a wireless network that says joseph. probably about 20 neighbors can see it. what should i make it say? i was hoping i could just have my own network for my room, but i guess its set up to only work with the new modem we were given.

As far as hacking, there really isn't much you can do with 2wire routers. Best case scenario, you make a small explosive that gives you roughly 15 seconds of fun.

id rather set the name to be the name of my site for a little advertising. but i doubt my high class neighbors would like it.

if you don't want to advertise (lolwut) make it "I can hear you having sex."

and i dont live in an apartment. every house in my neighborhood is completely soundproof.

doesn't matter. If I'm in the attic, I can hear every word said in my neighbor's house. I'm sure you have a spot like that somewhere in your house.
