I would, but I can get the same hardware for cheaper. Mac OS will run on standard hardware.

I like the new magic mouse. The imac to me, isn't meant to be a power computer. so upgrading the hardware to a 3.06 mhz processor is a weak point to sell (to me). The 27" screen is getting closer to being the size of a tv!

Getting closer? My biggest normal TV is a 4:3 25 inch.
My biggest tv is a 4:3 52 inch. Still runs at VGA,

I haven't seen the new imac in person. How does it differ from the "old" (g6) imac?

things sick.
trackpad and mouse mixed. i dont think its really for me though.

A mate of mine ordered a magic mouse last week. I'm waiting to see how it'll be. I love its minimalism. The touch scrolling will be sweet.

They only work with the new imacs (right now) the reason just speculating here, guessing cause they don't even ship on their own yet.. they want people to buy the new imacs. A single (AA) battery. I think the mightymouse actually uses two.

pretty sure the magic mouse will work as long as you're upgraded to snow leopard.

r u guys ferseious?
why wouldnt it work on anything? im sure there is even some software out there that lets you use it on a pc as long as you have bluetooth.
Or atleast the drivers. I know like on hackintosh's there are little driver packages you can download and run.
itanium

It works. Unless it's some signal not used in any other computer (aka not bluetooth), I can guarantee it will work in any PC, provided it has the proper drivers.
