Did anyone else know about this?

It'd be schweet if they started doing that for, you know, PS, DW, IL... <3

I saw it yesterday. I don't think they'll ever do it for photoshop. Linux applications are supposed to be open source, and I just don't think Adobe is willing to do that for a $600 product, especially since all I would have to download is the free source, and just compile it myself (although I'm sure that would be a bitch, it takes long enough to install photoshop, I don't want to try compiling it).

Not all Linux OSes are free & open source, though, nor are all the applications.

But yeah, it's not like people don't already know how to use it in Linux, we'd just appreciate a less buggy version lulz.

All but Suse, Mandriva Enterprise, and Red Hat are completely open source (and those are all mixed source, not closed source). Very few distros aren't free.

It's a lot easier on us and on Adobe devs for us to continue running Potatoshop under WINE. WINE is really basic, even the newest users can figure out how to run photochop under WINE.

^ That makes me an idiot, then, because I can't get that shit to work with ANYTHING. Except Notepad, and single-file .exe programmes.

It tends to work better if you launch it from a shortcut or from wine explorer than it does launching it from a terminal or your native file manager.
