i know lots of people here use photoshop or imageready...im just wondering if anyone with experience on macromedia fireworks could tell me if it's good for skin designing or not...i just got the software, so curious to know if its xanga-usable...or should i just stick with dreamweaver?

i only use it for making animated gifs. I never tried using fireworks.. id say just stick with dreamweaver happy.gif

I always use photoshop. AWESOME slicing capabilities, and use it on my skin right now.

I use Photoshop a lot for making the actual skins, but if there's any image mapping involved, then I whip out Fireworks.

Thats what i'm talking about imagemaps on Fireworks blows away any other software u can use. I slice in fireworks too since it makes cleaner html src.

eh...im gettin gray hair from all those stressful nights of trying to figure out macromedia flash....took me half a year to at least get the basics done T_T...and then there's actionscript >_<
