If you want to make an image map, here's how to do it
Mike
Or if you want, you can just use this image-map generator. If you are uploading an image from your computer, make sure you upload the image on TinyPic or something then replace the generated URL with the uploaded version's.

but do ya know how to map a div with cordenates like mapping? that whaat i ma ooking for
deadmellotron
I'm confused as to what you are trying to ask? That's what imagemapping does is it maps the image with certain coordinates.
elletricity
You can't map a div. A div is an empty box that you can put things in. You can change the POSITION of a div. Only images can be mapped.
Mike
^What she said. To determine the coordinates of an area on an image, fire up any editing program and find them out, most often by just hovering over the spot you want to link and see what position the mouse is at. The coordinations are as follows: top, left, bottom, right. If you use Photoshop, this tutorial should teach you how to do it.
