Im trying to make a piece where the "Main text" will be placed on old parchment paper [ on the top and bottom scroll part], and i need it to look like the text is burned into the paper,

does any one have any idea how to do this ? i cant find a tutorial any where.

please help i know one of you has to know how 2 do this

Set the text layer to black, use hard light, and lower the opacity

any font suggestions ? he likes how i made the center appear to be burnt but that was just a render i used

so any idea on how 2 duplicate that for the text ?

Just a though, but you could use the burn tool

lmao yaa but you mean manually try to burn the text in >?

dont have that steady enough hands for that

I think you may have to rasterize the text layer to do this, but if not, don't.. Ctrl+left click the layer icon in the layers pallatte to the text layer to select the editable area and run the burn tool over that

Ite thanks ill give that a try, any font family you suggest that would make this look good?

Any font that you can dig up that isn't microsoft default would do fine...

alright none of these things worked so now im just lookin for ANY text effect idea ?
