My mother moved to the guest bedroom about a year ago because my father refused to try nasal strips and his snoring is incredibly loud... like a parade.
Amaranthus
My mother sometimes considers it for the same reason, though we don't have a guest bedroom.
emberfly
I would rather use nasal strips and sleep with my wife than not use them and sleep alone sad.gif

Not only that, he like fidgets and talks in his sleep lyke every day.
So we're not surprised to find mommmy sleeping on the living room couch.

i think 5 years ago or so they had a huge fight and my dad moved to the guest room. he never moved back up but their relationship is really good now.
Uso
Same room same bed

But if my Dad is on call (waking up to leave for work at random times at night) my mum will sleep in the guest room so she isn't tired.

Are there even parents that are old fashion and sleep in the same room but in different beds?
paozuu
my parents do not sleep in the same room, my dad is a bee-otch.
KaraYankit
my dad snores super loud, but I think my mom is used to it.
I can here him in the living room when their door is closed..my walls are thick and my doors are solid. loudddd.

geeeeez. one of the greatest things about marriages in my opinion is being able to wake up next to the person you love every day for the rest of your life. if i can't have that, i ain't gettin married

Ditto.

But yes, parents sleep in same room same bed. My dad snores loudly but my mom uses earplugs and is just use to it.

Don't marry a snorer! But I agree with you.

But my mom and my stepdad, they sleep in the same bed. They both snore, loud, so one can't really complain about the other.
synkiro
my dad is a loud snorer, so it depends on who falls asleep first; if my mom falls asleep first, then they both sleep in the master bedroom, and if my dad's asleep first, my mom sleeps somewhere else. sometimes, they just don't feel like sleeping in the master bedroom at all, and my mom would fall asleep in one of the family rooms watching tv, while my dad would sleep in the guest bedroom 'cause he uses it as a recording studio ;o

my parents sleep in the same bed. but i dunno, i like having my own bed and all that space so i don't know how much i'd enjoy someone else being right there. but who knows? reminds of this article i read a while ago
IamLegend
I can't imagine waking up to the same person each day for the rest of my life.
Amaranthus
If I slept next to someone every day, I couldn't guarantee that I wouldn't try to smother them, for various reasons.

My parents aren't even in the same country. xD
goth-nina
Even when they were married, they hated each other. They divorced in 2003. My mother lives in Spain now.
