Though, tutorials for 6.0 are getting very scarce.

you can use what they said or you could use flash too for the more advanced stuff

PS, PSP, 3DSM, Bryce, Flash, Illustrator, Maya (lol Unrealistically of course..) , Cool 3D, Freehand, ... there's a lotta programs you can use.

I personally favor PS though.

Paint shop pro. Its way less expensive and easier to use than photoshop

I want Photoshop but I use Fireworks. They come out pretty good if you know what you're doing...

Ahh .. Those good old pre-Photoshop days .. I used to use Paint. It`s okay for lots of plain banners but for more complex banners, use Photoshop.

ADOBE !! ROCKS MY SOCKS ! i've never tried paintshoppro.. but adobe dude. adoobe !! i want the new version of adobe (cs) but my serial doesn't work (?) and yeah, i'm using 7.o AND IT ROCKS ! for animated stuff, like avatars =D i use adobe imageready. it's easy to use if you read tutorials =D

i started out with paint shop pro 7. its not too great, its kinda confusing until u get the hang of it. i still do use psp7. my sis uses psp8

i use psp7... i started usin it awhile ago n now its really easy..im still not too good though.... adobe just seems really expensive and hard.. but ive never tried it :/

We all used paint once before. And even though it's a HUGE transition from Paint to photoshop or paintshop pro (trust me. I've tried both), it helps because you learn how to move things, crop, select, paint (even using pencil and coloing every little dot =P), etc. Even when I had photoshop and used it, I still sometimes used paint becuase sometimes pHotoshop is a little frustrating at times and I just want to have everything together, so I used Paint. LoL, confusing, no?

adobe all the wayy.. it'll take you about.. at least 2 hours if you have dsl. i had to download it like 4 times because 3 of em crashed or didn't work :D all in two days time :D

yeah u can get them free...by askin ur friends their adobe photoshop cd....hehe newais im using adobe photoshop elements^^;; hehe
