I wouldn't say the type of music I listen to is "rock." I'm not too found of mainstream music though. Not because it's mainstream, but because it's been ages since I actually listened to it and my taste of music has really changed.

I always thought Something Corporate was one of those mainstream emo bands. Maybe it's just me...?

Umm...yeah they are mainstreen NOW ever since they went on tour with Good Charlotte and got a video out on MTV. So they got noticed and everyone knows about them now.
Err...they aren't really emo. Like alk3 said, they're piano rock. They're VERY soft. It's more like pop/rock to me. But more on the pop side.

I only like listening to rock music when I'm feeling down or depressed. But other times, I'm usually listening to Christian, kpop, or classical musics.

yea, i like rock music, not heavy/metal. i think something corporate went on tour with good charlotte. my fav. is good charlotte and linkin park. others i like are simple plan, mest, blink, sum 41, etc.

Something Corporate is amazing, but they don't play together anymore. They're taking a "break" and Andrew McMahon is currently singing for Jack's Mannequin.
Also, Ruthless is from the North album, and that's from 2003.
But yes. A great band. I look forward to them getting back together and putting out a new album.
