do you drink something as you're eating, or do you have a drink after you're done eating everything?

I drink something while I'm eating. If I don't, it feels really weird. But I heard that's bad to do.

^Lol to drink something while you eat.
QUOTE
While eating your meal, for the most part, do not drink with it.
This dilutes the stomach acids and digestive enzymes. It is best to drink 20 minutes before your meal - this helps uptake of nutrients and move bowels.
QUOTE
Drinking cold mucousy milk during a meal is like spraying foam on a fire. It totally kills it. The Chinese call your digestive system the triple burner. It burns from below and that fire works its way up properly digesting your foods. Cold milk and beverages douse that fire.
http://ezinearticles.com/?Eating-and-Drink...x&id=113622Damn I remember drinking milk once while I was eating. I'm not going to do that again lol.

i always drink while i'm eating. i have to have enough left to drink to wash down the last bite. i feel wrong if the drink is gone before the food.

Drinking while eating makes me feel full so I put drinks aside until after meals. That way, I can savor every bite.

Complete opposite here, but you're much thinner and probably have much more of a kick ass metabolism than I have. For some reason, I got into this kick of drinking water (about 16 oz, little under the typical water bottle) an hour before I eat. For me, it has definitely limited the amount of food necessary to make me full.

I drink while I eat. =X It's bad for me, but I can't help it. I usually drink water though, but occasionally I might opt for iced tea or soda. My mouth feels dry when I eat.

wow......... the way i've been eating has been so opposite from what those sites say to do.
My mother forces me to drink as much milk as I can a day. I am given milk at every meal.
I was under the impression milk was good for you.

Hmm, depends on how dry the food is. If it's really dry I'll drink while eating it to help it go down, if not I drink after.
