I've always passed up on these because I thought they were pricey. JambaJuice wanted to charge me $1.25 for a small, dinky bag of them so I was nothxbai. I didn't see them at the grocery stores I frequent or walmart/target. The website says that Target carries them though. LIES! Anyway, a few weeks ago I stopped by Henry's to buy a bunch of peaches (on sale xmas.gif ) and decided to stop by the chip aisle. LO AND BEHOLD, there's a bigger bag of them! And they weren't even expensive (damn u Jamba!!!) either! I bought two bags of the sea salt & vinegar to try and wow, they're possibly the BEST POTATO CHIPS I'VE EVER HAD. So I went to Henry's Farmer's Market yesterday and I saw them on sale ($2.19 each!!! OH MA LAWDDDD). Being the xmas.gif that I am, I got 4 bags - 3 sea salt & vinegar (last ones), and 1 barbeque to try.

Is anyone else obsessed with them?!

^well i guess is popped? but how does that work anyway?

Basically, heat and pressure are applied so that they "pop". I'm not exactly sure of the process, though. However, it definitely tastes DIFFERENT from the regular potato chip. Fried potato chips always feel/taste somewhat greasy, while baked ones don't really taste like potato to me. I really like them because of the texture and the flavor. Heck, even the original is good!

seasonal0.gif - I really like them, and only the sour cream and onion flavor has saturated fat. Not only will you feel good about yourself, but seriously, each chip has so much flavor. I'm really trying to resist opening another bag because I don't know when Henry's will restock them. ;'[

I'd have to agree with you right there. Quality over quantity, but I guess not everyone believes in that? shrug.gif It's all good. Reminds me of how my friends will pay $5 for like, 3 fried oreos. I am not exactly sure of the price, but DAMN, just thinking $5 for three oreos fried in FAT BATTER. They just got it to try it for the first time, lol. But then again I was being a cheap xmas.gif when I skipped out on the tiny $1.25 bag. I'd pay $2.19-$2.49 for a 3-serving bag of AMAZING CHIPS than $2.50 for a 9-serving bag of decent/so-so chips.

Deb - I've only tried the salt and vinegar and original. I haven't opened the other bag yet. Correction, I didn't get barbeque for the other bag, I got parmesan and garlic. I really like the salt and vinegar ones ;]
