The content area over laps the nav for me in FF
Mikeplyts
Same here.

Also, it's pretty hard to read the content area text on that image. wacko.gif

it looks alright, except that the content area is over the main image... it looks like it should be on the right side and not on the left side.

There are things that I like about it, and things that I don't. The content is hard to read, because it's a light font on a light background, there's a tiny bit of contrast, but not as much as there should be for a content area. The dateline, is weird, I think that it'd look better if July came out as one color, not having the J black, and the rest orange, and the right side of the content is rather close to the scrollbar, perhaps adding 5-10px of padding to the right side of the contents div.. As far as the background goes, I think that it came out great, and I love the blend into the blog area. Overall, it's a good layout, just do something with the content/blog area.

I'll take that into consideration. And I check to see if it was aligned right in FF before posting. I don't know why some are overlapping.

Maybe try posting a new topic in the Webmasters' Corner with your codes so we can help you out? shrug.gif

Same, though the actual graphic/blending looks beautiful.

Same for me. Nice job though. The background image is nice.

so it's all in place?
Mickey
No, still isn't.
emberfly
I updated my Firefox, so the positioning is fine now. But if you want it to work on most people's computer, no, it's not all in place.
Mickey
Sorry, ^that's what I meant. Looked fine on my desktop but not on my laptop. (Haven't updated FF on there.)

wow, pretty simple, colorful, i'll give you that, great contrast with the yellow and those prefect shades of blue! i think the dark blue first letter thing isn't so hot, should just make the headers the same color because the navy stands out too much but the skybluish color doesn't stand out as much as it should. the font purple is so pretty

i think maybe you were aiming for the heaven-light colors that are so light, blending them is a breeze, the hoverlinks are cute, like the orange and blue a lot!

overall: absolute bliss!
