So I have a "photo studio" in my room that I want to improve.

I currently have a white background using fabric and 2 3 bulb lampstands with regular energy saving bulbs.

What I want to know is, how could I make a low budget reflector and use it correctly?
Also what sort of bulbs should I be using?
