Hey guys, first actual post here. I just designed two new myspace layouts, check them out!

first one is for a band that was recently in the studio:

second was for the studio I work at:
Holographic Recording Studio

Having a lot of fun doing layouts. Let me know what you think!

1st layout
It doesn't really... flow well. If you get what I mean
It looks a little awkward
&& the header doesn't match the rest of the layout.
I don't like the sections headers either with that purpley cloud stuff

2nd layout
This one looks a lot better
But it's a little simple
&& I still don't like the headers of the sections

i don't really like either: the headers are very chunky and a bit of an eyesore.

Cool, thanks for the comments! Yea, I agree on the headers, I personally don't like them too much, I was just trying out something new. It looks a little cheeseball.

I am more into simple design, like the second page top banner, but the boss at the studio is into flair to the extreme, thus the textured sides, which I hate. I'm going to try and streamline the profile to just something more elegant and see what he says.

For the first one, the header doesn't match the layout, imo. And for the second one, I feel like there needs to be a picture in place of the square. I think the better one looks better than the first one. But nice job :)
