With the new forum thing here, I'm not sure exactly where to post.

But, I think there is something wrong with my sound card.
The sound quality on my computer all of a sudden just sounded atrocious.
All my music just sounds different, just can't explain it.
Does it sound like I need a new one, or should I just see if there is an update for my sound card?

Could be drivers. Download the newest drivers off the manufacturer's website.

Otherwise, it could be the speakers. Try plugging different speakers into the soundcard.

It's rare that a soundcard will just fail.

I downloaded the newest drivers and I've put three different sets of speakers in and I got the same results.

I have a feeling it's just my hearing or something.
I'll probably have other people see if the sound is weird to them or not.

Most motherboards have integrated audio. If that's not what you're already using, try using that.
