I have always been better friends with girls. Mainly because I don't think I have ever met a guy that seemed cool in any way and was my age. Or was anything like me.
It kinda stinks, having most my friends being girls and being homeschooled. Homeschool parents are usually a little crazy. So I don't hang out with any of my school friends out of school.
It sucks. And then I have a bunch of other friends that I am mainly connected to through technology, and we hang out.
This is the only kind of stuff that makes me want to go to public school. Summer should be funner then school...

I'm mostly friends with guys. I'm more of an athletic, "rough" male then a sensitive, "soft" male. Like a football, basketball, skating, wrestling type of guy.

I'm not soft or sensitive. I just get along better with girls. Most of the time.
I bet I could beat you in a fight. /sidetracked

My boyfriend is my best friend that I sleep with. Then I've got my best girlfriend, and two male friends (gay). I get along more with guys than with girls but oh well, I don't give a f*ck.

i get a long most of the time with my guy friends...I mean 4 of my closest friends are guys and we have been friends the longest.
I play video games with them, we blast Dota when we drive into town, we just have a lot of good times together and i feel...more connected with them and more fitted in.
Of course i still need my girl-friends. But i have 2 who are better seperate, when they are together and I they kinda leave me out at times. But if im with the each of them alone then we be good.

It really depends for me. I would say that I have a lot more female friends than male, but the male ones that I do have I am extremely tight with.

Almost all of my friends are guys. Guys are just easier for me to get along with, that is when they finally get passed the lets hook up phase. I really dont trust girls much but i have about five close girlfriends.

IMO I think that if a guy only has female friends, then they're either 1) gay, 2) anti-social or 3) manwhores. I can understand if a girl can't have female friends, since girls have a legitimate tendency to be bitches to each other, but if guys don't have guy friends...that's just weird to me.
As for myself, I get along well with guys and I do enjoy hanging out with them, but at the end of the day I'd rather hang out with my girls and quote Friends all day.

honestly, i think it's normal that way. i get along with most guys that i do with my girl friends. it's not because i'm attracted to them, it's just that it's easier to get along. it's not a big deal

I have a feeling, that being the huge geek you are...no offense... that you site in a corner at school and don't speak. How do you expect to make friends that way?
This isnt me being derogatory. It is me giving advice...

Oh now now, idiots make magnificant friends!
I know a lot of people, count about 3, if that, as "close" friends. I've always been like that though. The ones that tend to stick, have fairly similar personalities. I don't want to say "geeks", because that is so f*cking cliché these days, but my friends tend to lean in the direction of the intelligent, gadget loving, game playing, book reading type.
