Is it okay for you to feel 2 opposite feelings at once at the same person?

I hate my ex boyfriend so much. But then again I love him alot too. I cant even explain it. Today I saw him & it was just weird being around him and we both didnt talk to eachother so i was mad at him but i still liked him like crazy

I love my ex to death. But at the same time, I feel this immerse hate for him. I hate him because he makes me feel this way, so weak and vulnerable. But I love him coz... he's become like a part of me, I don't know what I'd do without him.

I have a friend who I love half the time because she's fun to be around, but hate the other half of the time because she either insults me, my other friends, my culture, my lack of religion, or something else.
