How much would be for a photoshop tablet?

My friend got one from her neighber for $30, But i know they cost more, and I really want oneeeee.

Like, Some sites have them, but I was wondering, how much?

Wacom Bamboo is $75. Go with either that, or the Bamboo Fun, which is around $100.

depends, my sister got one but it was for her birthday. I wouldn't be surprised if most sell for at least $100

Bamboo fun is a little nicer. Higher DPI.

dpi is dots per inch. The higher the better.haha, no thats just what it's called. Probably because it is fun sized.

maybe you shouldn't get a tablet if you know nothing about them. do you just want one because you're a "graphic designer"?

I got one for CAD drawing and sketches. Really, they're not good for anything else. If you do a crapton of CAD or sketching, it's great, but otherwise, they're useless.

I had a friend next door who had one, but broke it.

Other than go beast with the paint brush tool, you're not going to be able to do anything new with a tablet.

My advice is the Bamboo Wacom

I just want one so I make natural lines when making stuff. And so I can draw on my computer instead of on a page and scan it.

I'd go with a Wacom, since that's basically the highest quality tablet you can get and the go for a reasonable price. The cheaper ones are around $70, and you can use them for basic drawing. The higher end ones are more sensitive and recognize pen pressure more, so if you want to draw a really light line you can do that. The cheaper ones aren't that sensitive.

why you shouldn't get the bamboo fun: 512 pressure levels, 2540 LPI, no tilt, 5.8x3.7.
why you should get the intuos4: 2048 pressure levels, 5080 LPI, tilt, 6.2x3.9 (the small one).

if you can find an intuos3 it'll be cheaper, but it only has 1024 pressure levels.

Not true. They are really great for photo-retouching as well. Thats what I use mine for primarily.

You get no extra control or features with a tablet if you're doing retouches.

If wanna airbrush, with a little less opacity then mouse lines would be obvious.

All in all, they are great to have, and you'll end up using them in some project.

Well, im getting one in the next few days, but It needs to be between 50-100. A little over is ok.

How much better, is the Wacom Bamboo Fun small then the Wacom Bamboo small.

The fun is an extra 40 bucks and they only have white (yuck)

And just the reviews make them look bad, but is are the genius tablets any good? They are way cheaper have 1024 sensitivity levels but the reviews say they keep messing, and arent as good as bamboo.


NVM: I decided to get the fun when I found out only the fun, hs an eraser, and it comes with photoshop and corel painter.

I guess thats an opinion because I happen to get LOADS of better control when I use the tablet.

Holy crap. I got a wacom bamboo small tablet and I freaking love this thing! It has completely replaced my mouse. One problem. There is this program that I cant figure out how to close.



It's called Tablet PC input panel. How can I make it go away! I just disabled by going to turn off and on windows features but I realized that it does some stuff I want! Like it displays a ring when I tap, and it allows my to ctrl click and stuff. So how do I get rid of that little window. And when I click it, it flies out to the middle of the screen.

i have the same thing
all you have to do is
1. open it
2. click on tools and then options
3. click on the tab called opening
and then from there you can just change your settings

Just learn to use the pen tool in Photoshop. I mean... same concept, but free.
