i have inserted my back ground url but it doesn ot fill u pthe whole page which is what i want ? what have i done wrong

Your background image obviously doesn't have a large enough size to fill up the page. Simply resize it on an editing program, re-upload it then set the new one as your background. If that answer wasn't what you were looking for, please clarify your question.
