im having the same issue as somebody else. my page looks fine in firefox, but in IE its a little bit jacked up. I read over this thread

If you want to customize how your page looks on IE but not on other browsers, copy and paste whatever property you want to use then add an underscore before it. Take this, for example:

I set the border property to none so that in most browsers, your tables won't have borders. Then I put another border property to add a black 1px border to my tables, which will only work on IE because it has an underscore before it. Remember, you aren't limited to just border or padding properties. You can do that for positioning, size, font and colour attributes.

Next time you have a question, keep it in a single topic. You can ask as many questions as you want on there. It's a lot easier for us to help you because we don't have to switch back and forth to multiple topics.
