You can still have a forum presence without a boatload of posts. We usually do the old fashioned "if the pros outweigh the cons" thing. As far as making design staff is concerned, the community should know who you are (in case they need to contact a mod), you should have submissions, you should post in the resource center, and you should have a good attitude. We let Abbey slide when it came to that last one :P jk

nah but really i don't think post count is that relevant as long as you didn't just show up around here a week ago. i got staff without having a ton of posts too and no one complains that i wasn't competent. same with steven and other people too if we think about it. plus there's a lot of people here with thousands of posts that are complete idiots.
