First one was ok. I think I got spooked once when I went to go down a latter and when I turned the little girl was BOOM all up in my face haha. It was dark and the surround sound was blasting. That was it though. The rest of the game was kinda boring.

The second is definitely an improvement, but it's still not quite that scary to me. I got spooked quite a few more times than the first one, but nothing really scared the shit out of me which made the whole experience very disappointing.

It's a decent series overall though. Not bad, not great.



AND WHO MENTIONED HALF-LIFE?? Half-Life is HANDS DOWN one of the BEST series of all time. Those games are pure brilliance. I have NEVER anticipated a sequel like I am anticipating Episode 3. I literally CAN'T WAIT. I NEED that game NOW, haha.

I don't really see why it was mentioned though, seeing as the games have almost no similarity, other than both being FPS.

The first one sucked. The demo for F.E.A.R. 2 was better than the entire first game.

I really, really hope you're not trying to argue that the F.E.A.R. series is better than the Half-Life series. Either you have no idea what the f*ck a good game is, or you've never played Half-Life. If you haven't, then that would explain why you have no idea what a good game is.

I've played Half Life ever since I was 4, but this beenly started bragging about HALF LIFE, This thread was about FEAR.. and yes I say that FEAR is more good than Half Life..

HalfLife2 is good, but for me, it misses a good HUD, and it makes me want Episode 3 more than ever..

That would explain a lot. Seeing as if he played Half-Life at the age of 4, there's no way his tiny brain could grasp the concept, mechanics, and storyline. Hell, even at 12 he couldn't. Games are rated M for reasons other than blood, gore, and language.
