Because I was talking to my mom the other day and she said she never did it.

i don't usually call them names like that. i prefer dollface, hon', lady, chica, and other terms of endearment. although i have been known to call one of bessies a man whore. only because it's such an oxymoron when refering to him.

well obviously it can only work with a certain group of friends. ones you know that won't take offense easily. ones where i can tell them that they're really being a bitch and they won't get all pissy.

My friends call each other bitch, slut, whore, etc. all the time. It's not like they really mean it; it's just all in good fun. I used to be really iffy about it (probably because swearing was always considered 'taboo'), but I've found myself calling my friends bitches lately too haha. I don't really know why... the last time I remember calling one of them one was because I was so taken by surprise by something they told me. Yeah.

And I think it most definitely is just this generation and this western culture. Swearing is such a normal thing to do here nowadays, the bad words themselves aren't even really considered 'bad' anymore. I can't really imagine people calling each other bitches in Chinese though...
