Do you like the thick kind on desktops or? Or the thing kind like on laptops.
Or the middle ground which is the mighty keyboard. Turns out you can get the slim kind of keyboards even for desktops.

I'm fine with any kind of keyboard as long as I can type.

This is the only keyboard I ever use. I can type for a good 2 hours straight and never have any muscular pain or aches/discomfort in my hands.

I like desktop keyboards.
I'm using a Dell SK-8100 keyboard right now. I'd like to get a
Logitech G15. One of my friends has one, and it's the nicest keyboard I've ever used.
I'd like to try the Optimus Maximus keyboard, but I wouldn't spend $800 for one.

desktop, with the prominent keys. lappy's are just too flat, i can't "feel" where the keys are, so i don't know which key i'm pressing.

What I don't like about laptops is that most of them don't have the 10 key or whatever it's called.

^ I don't have that on my laptop, so I'm used to using the numbers above the letters keys. I am definitely not one of those people who can fly through putting numbers in with that number pad.
I've had my laptop for a long time, so the keys are getting kind of worn.

Yeah when I had a laptop before, I got used to the numbers being above the letters. But I still haven't mastered the number pad lol.
I hate it when the keys start wearing out. I should clean my keyboard. I see some dust on it. "/

I cant use those things. my laptop does have one though! I dont like it though. I think i like dekstop better cause you can move the keyboard but the screen stays stationary.

It's called a numpad. I use mine all the time.
My keyboard is eight years old, and it's still a badass keyboard.

The Optimus Tactus is a touch surface keyboard- Think ipod Touch, but as a keyboard. This little beauty is programmable to be a keyboard, a video player or can be programmed for what you would like for it to be for you.

Id get frustrated immediatly! haha! It would be hard to type on cause it would be hard! And youd always be typing the wrong keys and youd have to look when you type.

Mar 1 2009, 10:15 PM
^ if you learned how to type, you shouldn't need to look down on your keys, nor should you need to "feel" the keys, but i understand some people have their preferences and would rather "feel" the keys.
i don't mind either way. plus, it's easy cleanup haha.

Stick a knife or something underneath the keys, and pop them off.

(thats what she said.)

Mar 1 2009, 10:43 PM
^ It's a bit more complex than just pushing, but once you get them off, it's easy to see how to do it.
^x2 Maybe so. I've got a brand new spare keyboard though, so if I do screw up this eight year old keyboard, I'll be fine.
