it's funny...I'm reading on this forum and I don't see any posts or threads on gift ideas for people...??

So what I'm looking for are cool, different, unique gift ideas for my gf's engagement party. I'm her maid of honor...and while we're at it...a good wedding gift...since I have 7 other weddings to attend this year!

PS. I'm new here...so please let me know if I am posting in the wrong area...

Well at least the wedding gift is easy since she'll be registered somewhere. As for an engagement party gift, I really don't know. What does one need when they get engaged? Maybe a nice blank journal so she can document the experience?

As far as an engagement gift goes I think those are the more "fun" gifts, whereas the wedding gifts are more serious (like dishes and home goods). Maybe her a cute little home spa set or something so that she can get rid of stress and pamper herself.
