So I was flipping through channels today looking for something to watch. I had the misfortune of flipping onto MTV and I saw a preview for the biggest shitpile I've seen in a long time. A theater film about the Jonas Brothers concerts...

Other than my extreme hate for all disney channel "stars" This is just a waste of a cinema slot. You want to see a movie about Jonas brothers concerts? how about you just go see a f*cking jonas brothers concert?

They did the same thing with Miley Cyrus last year...I remember because I was almost talked into taking the girls I babysit. Good thing it was completely sold out for the weekend, which is kinda pathetic, but I'll take it.

it is total crap. that's how i felt when i heard they were making a High School Musical 3 to be released in theaters.

if you think about it logically, it's making people money. a ton of little teeny boppin' Disney lovers are gonna pay to see something like this at least once. seeing it in the theaters is cheaper and easier than going to a concert for some people.
Cyanide-
i want to shoot bullets in my head every time i come across that commercial.

Get off the couch and stop being dancing chickens. When will the young age society learn that TV is a form of social control, to "dumb" the youth culture. Seriously, the kids growing up today, lack any creativity and imagination anymore. Back in the days, we ourselves entertain ourselves. We sing for ourselves. Now look at how our society has become. We pay these artists and actors to sing for us?

I really don't care. The pre teens love them, so whatever. stubborn.gif
I'm just glad my little cousins aren't into the whole Disney thing. I mean, WHAT HAPPENED???? Did they murder Mickey Mouse? I don't see him anymore.

When I was small, Disney wasn't like this. I remember a Donald Duck show with his 3 nephews, or cousins. There was this Goofy show, there was an Aladdin series, The Little Mermaid series. Geez. I miss them all. _unsure.gif

Although I was pretty much a Nickelodeon kid. Rocko's modern life, Rugrats, The Wild Thornberries, Hey Arnold--OMG.
I miss Hey Arnold the most.
